A friend and I took our kiddos to Brookfield Zoo today. The fall weather and scenery was so soothing, and it was nice to be out in the air.
Wyatt enjoyed sticking his hand in a goat's mouth, flirting with a girlie FAR too old for him, and eating lots of snacks in the stroller. He didn't think much of the dolphins, and preferred to put on a pole dancing show for the onlookers.
Judah enjoyed all the 'ammals', and would request 'more ammals' upon leaving each exhibit. The seal pools were funny. He was not into seals, and kept asking to please see the stingrays, pointing out that stingrays should live in that water too (of course only mommy would have a clue what he was getting at). After making sure his own RayRay had a snack and a drink, we went to the petting zoo. He was able to comb a 'goak's' hair, hear a cow moo and a rooster crow, and see a hive of bees which he insisted were 'ants'.
Fun day!
